Research Interests Dr. Zia Ullah’s research interest includes robust control drives and optimal design of permanent magnet type machines. His specific research interest is in the condition monitoring, different fault diagnosis, and fault tolerant control of PMSMs. He is also interested in big-data (machine/deep learning)-based predictive and/or preventive maintenance of machines in electric vehicles and industries. Research Interests My research interest is to investigate and develop advanced fault detection and diagnosis techniques for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The performance of PV systems is highly dependent on the reliable and continuous operation of their components. Thus, identifying, and rectifying faults in PV systems is crucial to ensure their efficient and sustainable operation.
